Britney Spears was busy prepping for the first of two Los Angeles stops on her Circus tour when a woman was arrested for looking into the windows of the pop singer's home in Calabasas.

Miranda Tozier-Robbins is 26 years old, and she was clad in camouflage and holding a video camera when security guards stopped her yesterday morning. She had snuck through the entrance of Brit's gated community, where she refused to comply with a guard who told her to leave. The guards turned her over to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, where she was cited for trespassing and disorderly conduct. The jury's still out on why she was there, and where Spears was while all of this was going on (she wasn't home).

Interestingly, Tozier-Robbins also auditioned for the fifth season of American Idol, where she performed a rendition of Britney's ballad "Everytime." She was cut in the second round of auditions, but you can read about her tryout on her blog, Idol Fever Approaching .

Always the professional, Spears went on to dazzle the crowd Thursday night at the Staples Center. Tozier-Robbins will have to go back to court in Malibu on June 16.

Miranda's mother was shocked to hear news of her daughter's arrest, telling E! News:
You are kidding. ... I knew she was a fan of [Britney]. I don't know why she would go there. ... She's never been in trouble before. I guess she just wanted to see Britney.
